Truth with Consequences
This Sunday, we have the joy of sharing in a child dedication and welcoming new members. We will worship our Lord, by singing his praises and devoting ourselves to walk with him together. Pastor Jim Renke will be leading us through Luke 22:66-23:25. This passage includes the courtroom scenes leading to the crucifixion. People said they wanted the truth, but the truth would change too much. How about you? The truth comes with consequences.

First Hour Classes:
We have three choices to choose from starting on April 7. Let us know your preference: The Messiah in the Movies OR Worship in Exile (a study in Ezekiel) AND Spiritual Disciplines.
VCL Youth- Join us tonight, 03.17 at 6:00 pm as Kim leads us in an exploration of faith in Hebrews 11. There will be snacks and games following the devotional time.
VCL Youth Movie Night - Join us for a movie night on 3.24 at 6:00 pm in the Great Room. We will be watching the animated classic The Prince of Egypt. Popcorn, snacks and drinks will be provided.

Ladies, we invite you to our next Saturday Gathering on April 13, 9-11 am. Courage to Change. What encourages us to change? How does it happen? What can make a difference? We will look at three ways we are motivated to change. We will hear Miriam Englund’s story of love, courage and boldness that changed a life.
And ladies, SAVE the DATE for May 11, 9-11 am to hear a DRAMA PRESENTATION on Corrie ten Boom. Make it a part of your Mother’s Day Weekend plans.
Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night, 3/19, 7:00 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer—all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email. Easter Plants: VCL will be decorated once again with flowers celebrating Easter. If you wish to participate by purchasing a plant, please fill out the form in the bulletin or contact the church office. Payment must accompany your order and all orders must be received by 3/17.
