FAQs

What should I expect on Sunday mornings?

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by some of our members. People will be dressed casually. Our service will be about 1 hour and 15 minutes long. We will sing songs that are led by a talented group of musicians and are designed for our participation. We’ll read Scripture and pray together. And there will be a message from God’s Word that will encourage and challenge us with God’s promise of love and forgiveness.

After the service, you’ll see people hanging around the Welcome Center where you can grab some refreshments. And you’ll be engaged in conversation if you want to be. Most of all, you’ll know that we were thankful that you joined us and we will hope you’ll come again.

What’s available for my children?

At 9am, there are classes for everyone, including your kids. There is a nursery available for infants and a toddler’s class for up to 4 years of age. During the serivce we’ll have a Children’s Story, where kids will be invited to come up and participate. During the sermon, children are invited to go to Children’s Worship. Our staff will return them during the closing song.

What is the process of becoming a member?

After you’ve been here a bit and believe that God is leading you to join this church family, you can express your interest on the Friendship Pad in the pews, or let one of the pastors know. We’ll invite you to a 2 hr. class. We’ll help you write out your testimony of faith. We will schedule a baptism, if you haven’t been baptized. After that, the Elders will approve you for membership. As members, we will learn to walk the path of faith together, entrusting Christ and His Spirit to fill us and grow us into a congregation that pleases Him.

What is an Evangelical Free Church?

It means we’re part of an association or churches called the Evangelical Free Church of America. It’s a group of churches that encourage and support each other in the common work “glorifying God by multiplying transformational churches among all people.”
