First Hour Classes:
Sent: Living a Life That Invites Others to Jesus, by Heather and Ashley Holleman. Plan to join Carol Marshall & Miranda George as we read this book together and encourage one another in the journey of sharing our faith in Christ. Class members will read one chapter per week with discussion questions.
VCL Beliefs - This class will go through the doctrinal statement of VCL. Each week we will focus on a separate article of faith. This would also serve as the doctrine review for future membership. If you’re curious, confused, or committed, this may be a class that strengthens your understanding of God and VCL. The class is led by Pastor Jim and Elder Jim Stamoolis.
VCL Youth- We’re back to the Youth Room! Join us tonight, 03.03, at 6:00 pm as Sam leads us during devotional time. Homemade snacks and game time will follow.
Have you been baptized? We are making plans for baptisms at our Easter service March 31. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and you have not been baptized, this is your opportunity to obey the Lord in this key ordinance. Please email Pastor Jim at jimrenke@evcl.org if you are interested.

Village Voices: Somehow it's already that time of year! Choir rehearsals for the Tenebrae (3/29) and Easter (3/31) services begin today, March 3rd. All rehearsal dates are outlined on the sign-up sheet in the foyer. Spread the word and warm your voices, all are welcome!
Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night, 3/5, 7:00 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer—all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email. Ladies, we invite you to our Saturday Gathering March 9, 9-11 a.m. in the Great Room. Pam Wunderlich will be our guest presenter sharing on Courage to Endure. We look forward to being together blessing and encouraging each other.
Ministry Opportunity: On Saturday, 3/9, we have an opportunity to help those in need with furniture deliveries and pickups. We meet at Love INC at 8am-noon to load the trucks.
