Servants of His Good News
This Sunday, we celebrate God’s graciousness in giving us Moms, both physical and spiritual. We will worship the Lord with thankful hearts through song, prayer and the Word. We’ll also take a moment to recognize our graduates. Pastor Jim Renke will preach from Galatians 1:6-10 and encourage us to stand firm in our loyalty to the good news given by God in Jesus Christ.
General Announcements
Hour in the Word Class : Join Pastor Casey at 9 a.m. in The God of All Goodness: Exploring Goodness in Scripture. In this class we will trace the theme of goodness through the Bible and see how this important topic impacts us today.
Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night (5/16) at 7:00 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer—all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email. VCL Men : Please mark your calendar for the Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Saturday May 20 at 7:45 a.m.
Membership: If God is making VCL your church home, we encourage you to pray about church membership. There will be a membership class tomorrow, May 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please email Pastor Jim at jimrenke@evcl.org if you plan to attend.
