This Sunday, we will gather to celebrate our risen Lord, Jesus Christ once again. In this post-Easter season, we’ll consider what it means to be created in God’s image. Pastor Jim Renke will lead us in the Word, helping us gain an understanding for how God made us to live in this world as an important part of His creation.

Identity Series Sunday Mornings April 2023: Identity is the foundational belief that shapes us from our earliest days. This is the belief that orients us in space and time. It gives our lives form and order. Without a biblically formed understanding, we will be tempted to veer from one guardrail to the next in the decisions we make, in the goals we set, and in the way we live with God and others in the world . In the next three weeks , we’ll spend time seeking God’s wisdom to help us answer the question, “Who Am I?”
New Hour in the Word Class starts April 16th! Join Pastor Casey at 9 a.m. in the new series The God of All Goodness: Exploring Goodness in Scripture. In this class we will trace the theme of goodness through the Bible and see how this important topic impacts us today.

Women’s Connection: All mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends of Village Church are invited to a Women’s Tea on Saturday May 13, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. We will be celebrating God’s gifts to us through our relationships as well as enjoying tea and special refreshments. Please do plan to join us as Women’s Connections completes this ministry year with joy and gratitude. Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night (4/18) at 7:00 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer—all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email. Membership: If God is making VCL your church home, we encourage you to pray about church membership. There will be a membership class on Monday, May 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please email Pastor Jim at jimrenke@evcl.org if you plan to attend.
