Add Brotherly Kindness

 This morning we are treated to the worship leadership of Jonathan Hidalgo and his student band from Westlake Christian Academy. Pastor Jim Renke will continue our series, Farsighted Faith. If we are going to stand firm, with a productive and effective faith, we must add true affection for the Body of Christ. Pastor Jim will lead us to understand what we can do to add that vital element so God can work through us.

General Announcements

 First Hour: We have two classes.  The first will be led by Jim Stamoolis:  “How to Read the Bible with Understanding.”  And the second will be led by Pastor Jim and will be going through Dallas Willard’s book:  “The Divine Conspiracy.”

  Thursday Women’s Bible Study

Women of all ages please mark your calendars for our weekly Bible Study. On Thursdays, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. we’ll be digging into the book of Ecclesiastes. The study guide we’ll be using is The Wiersby Bible Study Series: Ecclesiastes. Babysitting is provided. Please plan to join us!  Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night, 11/19, 7 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer—all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email.  Christmas Decorating Party!  Please join us to decorate VCL for Christmas on Monday, December 2, at 6:00 p.m.  Sign up in the foyer.  Many hands make light work!  Thank you.

  Samaritan’s Purse:  We will be collecting your shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child here at church through November 17th.  Or you can give online.
