Add Self Control

 This Sunday, Pastor Jim Renke will share the next sermon in our “Farsighted Faith” series from 2 Peter 1:3-9.  We will look at the importance of “self-control” in the walk of faith. And consider how God might develop that in us.

 First Hour: We have two classes.  The first will be led by Jim Stamoolis:  “How to Read the Bible with Understanding.”  And the second will be led by Pastor Jim and will be going through Dallas Willard’s book:  “The Divine Conspiracy.”

  Thursday Women’s Bible Study

Women of all ages please mark your calendars for our weekly Bible Study. On Thursdays, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. we’ll be digging into the book of Ecclesiastes. The study guide we’ll be using is The Wiersby Bible Study Series: Ecclesiastes. Babysitting is provided. Please plan to join us!  RESTED and RESTORED

Ladies, you are invited to our next Saturday Gathering, November 9, 9-11 am, “SOAK in the SCRIPTURES.”  Jenny Douglas will guide us through reading aloud God’s Word.  (Reading aloud is optional)  We will have the opportunity to soak in prayer, scriptures and MORE!  For more information contact Karen Kissinger at ponderingthetruth@hotmail.com.
