This Sunday, we look forward to celebrating the third week of Advent. As we gather, we’ll worship in song, prayers and the Word. We look forward to the ministry of our choir - The Village Voices. Pastor Jim will lead us through Micah so we can grasp the needs we have for the Savior and the promises fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
General Announcements
First Hour: We have two options for First Hour. Jim Stamoolis is leading a class on PRAYER. And Pastor Jim Renke is leading a class on EXPLORING GOD by Henry Blackaby. We will have no First Hour classes on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

VCL Youth Christmas Party! Join us tonight Sunday, 12/17 at 6:00 pm for a holiday celebration at the Cordes home. There will be a short devotional, cookie decorating and a gift exchange game. Please, bring a family tradition (dish) to share and a wrapped gift for the exchange (max $5).
Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night, 12/19, at 7:00 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer—all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email. Blue Christmas Service. Wednesday, December 20th at 7:00 p.m. A candlelit service for those who mourn. A time to reflect and seek God’s comfort together.
Ladies: We invite you to our next Saturday Gathering on January 13th at 9 to 11 a.m. Courage to Change. What encourages us to change? How does it happen? What can make difference? We will look at three ways we are motivated to change.
Save the date! All ladies are invited to a “berry” special baby shower for Shannon Renke & daughter on Saturday, January 27 at 10 a.m. Details to follow in the new year.
