We're here to provide
information about our Lincolnshire church for those looking for a church
home, as well as keeping our congregation updated. The first impression
of visitors to Village Church is the beauty of our wooded setting and
building, but far more important is the warm Christian fellowship and
devotion to Christ.
Our smaller size (average Sunday attendance is 175) and friendly
congregation give people a feeling of coming home. Our congregation not
only spans all ages, but also a variety of ethnic backgrounds. That
diversity is one of our favorite parts of our church life. But above
everything else, our goal at VCL is to be and to make disciples of Jesus
Christ. Village Church of Lincolnshire is located in Lincolnshire,
Illinois.
At VCL, we put a very high value on the
preaching of God's Word. We not only expect the sermons each Sunday to be
Bible-based, but to be an exposition of Scripture. That means we study one
passage from the Bible with the goal of understanding what it means in its
context and drawing from the passage the principles of godly living and
thinking that are natural to it.
