SUNDAY, March 16: "The Other Triumphal entry"

9:00-10:00 a.m.      Palm Sunday Brunch

10:30 A.M.             Worship Service & Children's Church

7:00 P.M.               Healing prayer service*

*It was probably the most rich and meaningful service I can recall at VCL." This was just one of the comments from an attendee of our first Healing Prayer service. The format for this service will include a brief time of worship and Scripture, a short message orienting us to God's Word and then an extended time of Communion. Those wishing prayer will go to one of our waiting prayer teams and hand them a card with their need written on it. Then the prayer team will pray for them. Childcare will be provided upon request.

March 20-22: Prayer Path--Walking in His Footsteps 

A unique opportunity to prayerfully reflect on the final hours of Jesus' life and ministry, including His death, burial, and resurrection. Here is the perfect way to slow down and sense the significance of the Easter season. Please allow between 1-1.5 hours for this experience. March 21, 7:00 p.m.: Good Friday –-"Tenebrae Service"        

Our traditional Tenebrae service, "Service of Shadows" is led by our Village Voices choir and is a simple interplay of music and Scripture describing Jesus' last hours. The auditorium is gradually darkened until we all leave in darkness and silence.

Easter, March 23: "Better than Christmas"   10:30 a.m.

While the adults are in worship, our children's staff will be providing a special Easter Eggstravaganza for children ages 4-12. Complete nursery care for infants – age 3.
