Children at Village Church
Village Church is a congregation that welcomes and values children. Our adult and teen volunteers are committed to helping children come to know Jesus as Savior and to grow in their walk with Him. We offer a supervised play experience for our younger children at the 9:00 hour, along with an elementary school class that hosts kindergarteners through 5th grade. Our 10:30 Children’s Church follow’s David C. Cook curriculum. The children start in worship, and then, after singing and prayer, head to their classes for age appropriate teaching. We divide our students into three classes: a 4 year old-kindergarten group, a first to second grade group, and a 3rd to 5th grade group. We have outstanding teachers who teach on an every-other week basis in all these classes.

Statement of Purpose
The Children’s Education Ministry Team is dedicated to supplementing the family to lay a spiritual foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead our children into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and to provide a place where they can grow in their knowledge and love for God.
Statement of Vision
For our children:
- To create an atmosphere where learning about Jesus is both fun and life changing.
For our workers:
- To provide the skills and resources needed in order to minister effectively.
For our church:
- To help the members of our church find a place where they can use their God-given abilities in service in an area that is best suited for them.
